Congratulations to the students in Computer I class and Ms. Jennifer James for collecting $1005.20 for the Albemarle Food Bank. The class challenged students in each classroom to bring loose change to support the Food Bank. Ms. Park’s eight grade class brought in the most change and earned a pizza party. The donations will enable the Food Bank to provide approximately two and one-half tons of food or the equilavent of 3,926 meals. The following students are members of the Computer I class: Ben Gregory, Ben Lane, Carson Spivey, Amber Stickle, Dana White and Alicia Wood.
Thanks for making a difference to help the people in our community.

Dear Parents/Guardians:
Albemarle School would like to thank you for your help in making our fish fry fundraiser a huge success. Thanks to the cooks, servers and the people who worked so hard for this event to go smoothly. Thanks also to those who sold tickets and those who purchased tickets.
Albemarle School has made major improvements to the exterior of our facility. The Board of Directors has recently approved other improvements to our facility; a security camera system, a communication system for emergencies and informational purposes and an awning for the preschool entrance way. More information will be provided as we get closer to getting these school improvements in place.
Albemarle School’s Volleyball Team is currently in first place in the Tidewater Independent Conference with a 6-1 conference record. They will play two more home games this year. Please come out and support our ladies.
On a safety note, please monitor your speed limit coming on and off campus when students are being dropped off. We have had several complaints of cars traveling too fast on campus. Thank you for your help as we look after the safety of our students.
